Stuntrigging.org has been created to provide an educational platform about all areas of rigging. Its purpose is to give its members a database and reference point to gain access to information and ideas when working on set or in pre-production.
It is also an educational tool to encourage learning and growth. Stuntrigging.org can be used as a live tool for gaining access to safety reports and templates that can be accessed and edited anytime and anywhere.
About Keir
Keir Beck is a Director and Stunt Coordinator and is regarded around the world as a leader in the specialist field of Stunt Rigging.
Beck has been working in the film industry since 1998. His background in arboriculture, adventure sports and climbing spanning back to 1988, has led him to become a true specialist and world-renowned in the stunt rigging arena. He has worked on over 100 productions worldwide.
Beck’s 2nd unit director credits include In Like Flynn and Jackie Chan’s Bleeding Steel, other credits as a Stunt Coordinator and stunt rigging Coordinator include Mad Max Fury Road (dir. George Miller), Hacksaw Ridge (dir. Mel Gibson), Flammable Children (dir. Stephan Elliott) and Bleeding Steel, starring action icon Jackie Chan.
His key stunt rigging credits include Casino Royale, Push, Sherlock Holmes: a Game of Shadows, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolution, Peter Pan and Hacksaw Ridge. He has also conducted specialist stunt rigging R&D for the Wachowski’s sci-fi epic Jupiter Ascending.
Beck was awarded with two Taurus World Stunt Awards for Mad Max Fury Road: “Best Stunt Coordinator/ Second Unit Director” and “Best Stunt Rigging”, and has been honored 2 Screen Actors Guild Award for his contribution on Mad Max: Fury Road and Hacksaw Ridge.
Beck was also recognised by the British Film and Television awards for his work on Mad Max Fury Road and was Honored with his profile in “For the Love of Film”
From his stunts and rigging training facility on the Gold Coast, Keir conducts training courses on all aspects of contemporary stunt work and stunt rigging and most recently film production, producing and directing.
